It’s all in the cards
Tarot cards have been around since the mid-15th century with the first tarot deck being published in Milan.
There are 78 cards in a deck, which is divided into two groups, Major and Minor Arcana. Major Arcana has 22 cards without suits. Minor Arcana has 56 cards with four suits, 14 cards each, similar to your average playing cards.
Tarot card readings are used as a spiritual connection, to gain insight into your past, present or future.
The most well known deck is called The Rider Waite Tarot Deck, created by Arthur Edward Waite, which was originally published in 1909.
