Ottley Amos Bonham
Meet Ottley!
Cayenne and Hannah wanted a unique name for their baby boy and it took them a while to find “the one”.
Dad searched through the family names, as well as surfer oceanic names to tie into his love of the ocean but nothing ever felt quite right.
One dad Cayenne called Hannah and mentioned a memory that had just popped-up in his head about a resturant in Boynton Beach, Florida, USA that used to be owned by some family friends.
The name of the restaurant was called "Lucille and Otley’s.
She interrupted him, screaming, “Say that name again!” He repeated it. Otley! She LOVED it! A name she had never heard before!
“That’s his name! That has to be his name! He’s Ottley” She exclaimed and he immediately agreed!
A minor alteration in spelling and Ottley was THE ONE!
Hannah searched her own family tree for a middle name and eventually found the name Amos. A name used hundreds of years ago but the exact family relation remains uncertain. But it was a family name that she loved and held onto.
All that was left was to tie in a connection to the band Led Zeppelin and the only one that felt right was Bonham; the last name of the band’s drummer. Then, their family was complete.
