Rowan Lilith

Meet Rowan Lilith!

The story behind this lovely toddlers name is divinely tied to magic and spirituality.

Two years prior to Rowan’s birth a psychic saw a glimpse into the future. It was predicted that the oldest daughter in the family would have a daughter of her own one day and her name would begin with the letter R.

Fast forward, Fen found out they were indeed expecting. She immediately knew she was going to name her baby Rowan, regardless of the babies gender, in honor of her grandmother Rhoda Ann. It was very important to her to name her daughter after a no nonsense, strong woman - and that was certainly grandmother’s personality.

When they shared the name with her grandmother, she laughed and said, “In Celtic tradition rowan trees are the trees witches make their wands out of”. It was so fitting as she was the only grandchild who shared an interest in witchcraft and magic with their grandmother.

As for her mile name, mom knew she wanted to name her after a mythical figure and something related to the moon but she had a hard time narrowing down her choices.

Further into her pregnancy, her partner shared with her that he had a dream that their daughters name was Lilith. They were shocked. Lilith matched all of the criteria so well and yet the couple had never discussed it prior. It was Fate!

Rowan’s name fits her perfectly and I know she’ll embrace the magic within her like all the amazing women before her.
